In 2013 I began serving with the ministry AMG as their Team Director in Guatemala. I am the friendly face that greets missions teams at the airport and is their guide through serving nationals during their stay in Guatemala. I love this opportunity to help deepen North Americans relationships with Christ through missions. http://www.amgguatemala.org
AMG Vision
We envision a day when everyone on Earth will have at least one
opportunity to hear and respond to a clear presentation of the Gospel of
Jesus Christ and have the opportunity to grow as a disciple of Christ.
Ministry at CB:2010-2012
I have the privilege of welcoming mission teams from the states to CB. I get to lead these teams in a week filled with loving our kids and staff. We also venture to Antigua for a fun filled day of sight seeing and some time to soak up some Guatemalan culture. The hope is that I encourage groups into a deeper relationship with Christ and to help them understand their role in loving others at CB, in Guatemala, or all over the world.
The kids are out of school. That means I can tutor kids all hours of the day! Kids that we serve here at CB come from all types of backgrounds. Some of our kids didn't go to school before they arrived and others aren't being successful at school. Right now I am tutoring 3 kids that have the lowest grades or have had the least amount of schooling. My goal is to catch them up in reading and math to their current grade level or help them skip to the appropriate grade for their age. I appreciate your prayers! :)
