About Me

The Lord has used Guatemala to teach me about love, hope, and faith. The first trip I took to Guatemala in July of 2009 the Lord placed a love for the country and an overwhelming love for orphans in my heart. The second trip to Guatemala in December of 2009 the Lord taught me about the hope orphans have in life when they are adopted into his heavenly family (John 14:18). The last short term trip I took to Guatemala in July of 2010 the Lord asked me to have faith by following the desires he has placed in my heart. Before I left the states the Lord used one of my friends to show me that the Lord had written this part of my story as 1 Corinthians 13:13 "And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

July of 2011 I moved to Guatemala to serve at an orphanage in Guatemala city. Serving at the orphanage has given me the opportunity to work at the baby house, toddler house, girls house, teach English, tutor, and lead teams from the states. This has been the most rewarding experience of my life. I thank God often for leading me down this road.

In 2013, I will begin working for the organization Advancing the Ministries of the Gospel as their Team Coordinator in Guatemala. I am honored to be in this role of linking visiting missions teams' gifts and abilities with nationals needs and desires. I am excited to begin working with AMG which serves 8,000 children all across Guatemala.
